Biomed is a German brand founded in 2010 with exciting new products launched in 2018. Their goal is to create natural alternative pharmacy quality products which are supported by clinical tests. Biomed do not test on animals and are totally cruelty free (woohoo!). They are pioneering the way to creating natural products imitating pharmacy product which don't compromise the care of our skin and are just as effective! What I love about this brand is that they show their clinical trial results on their website and packaging - total transparency! This gives the customer a chance to understand how the product works!
What is natural skin care and why should we use it?
Biomed creates safe and clinically tested products which are up to 100% natural. The products showcase active ingredients inspired by the nature coming from fruits and plants, which are not only good for us but also for our skin. Biomed use all organic ingredients which is fantastic!

Review of The Aqua Detox Face Mask
This mask aims to detoxify and protect the skin against environmental stressors and free radicals. It includes:
Kaolin caly - which absorbs the excess sebum and oils, therefore mattifying the skin. It boosts cell renewal, refines pores and enhances blood circulation.
Almond oil - is a deep skin cleanser, helping with acne and black heads.
Aloe Vera - is a natural hydrating agent that cools and heals the skin
This was my first time using Kaolin clay, I really enjoyed this product. It has a neutral smell and a thick consistency. It didn't sting like other masks I have tried which is great if you have sensitive skin! And best of all... it came off very easily, which for me is a plus point because some masks get so dry they take forever to take off! My skin felt slightly tighter and it definitely made a difference by making my forehead matt!
The Aqua Detox range is designed to deeply moisturize and purify from the toxins that accumulate on the skin surface throughout the day. I liked the fact that almond oil was one of the prominent ingredients as it gives your skin an extra cleanse!
Review of The Aqua Detox 24hr moisturiser
This face cream aims to detoxify and protect the skin against environmental stressors and free radicals. It includes:
Shea butter, argan oil, avocado oil and aloe vera - to moisturise the skin
Rosehip oil - activates the skin regenerating process, regulates the production of sebum and perspiration as well as removing dead skin cells to improve and skin’s smooth texture
Cotton seed oil - increases the cell renewal process and acts as an anti-oxidative- pure ingredients
This cream was very light and delicate, for me it was perfect but I wouldn't recommend it to someone with dry skin as they would require a few applications. I enjoyed this cream as it did not give my skin that greasy feel that some other moisturisers do!

Review of First aid 5 in 1 cleanser
This cleanser aims to detox, moisturise and regulate Ph of skin, designed for those with sensitive skin.
This cleanser was very delicate and felt great to apply, it has a floral smell which is really nice! It left my skin feeling soft and I will definitely be buying another of these - my favourite product of the 3!
To conclude
The three products worked well when I used them together - I wonder what the results would be like if I had only used one! I would like to try some more products from the First Aid range which are hypoallergenic and contain aloe vera, specifically recommended to treat redness, burning and tight skin. The only thing I would change about the detox range is the name, as you cannot remove toxins via the skin or pores therefore it is slightly misleading, however the products are great!
