Crispy Tofu nuggets


Ingredients


  • Large pack of crips of your choice - I used vegan cheese puffs

  • 1 pack of extra firm tofu

  • 250ml of any plant based milk — I used oat

  • 2 Tbsp of plain flour

  • pinch of salt and pepper

  • 2 tbsp of smoked paprika

  • 2 tbsp of garlic powder


Method


  • Heat oven to 180c with fan

  • Pat dry the tofu to get rid of any moisture

  • Cut the tofu into cubes

  • Mix the mix, flour, garlic, salt, pepper and paprika in one bowl

  • Crush the crisps in a separate bowl

  • One at a time but the tofu cube into the milk mix and then into the crisps, if they need it double dip (go back into the milk and then back in the crisps so they are completely covered)

  • Bake them for around 15 minutes until they are crispy

  • Enjoy!
